Ever been sitting at home thinking that you could eat a lovely Greggs sausage roll or a gingerbread man well now you wont ever have to leave your house as Greggs have annouced a delivery service!
The high street bakery is launching the scheme in Newcastle with a view to expanding it nationwide if it’s a success.
The lucky people what will be taking part first work for Cobalt Business Park in North Tyneside, who will try out the deliver services and then the officials will decided it it’s going to all over the UK.
Amy Carroll, communications manager at Cobalt, has said to the Newcastle Chronicle:
“I am sure Greggs Delivered will provide a popular choice for our businesses catering for meetings and for people who just fancy a team lunch.
“This service adds to a host of fantastic lunch options staff at the park have to choose from which include their own canteens, The Village Hotel Starbucks, bar and restaurant, Cobalt Central retailers, the fantastically popular Tasty Thursday pop-up restaurant event, plus a host of outlets locally at the Silverlink and Northumberland Park.
“Staff will be spoilt for choice.”
We personally think this will be a massive success.
Next hopefully will be Macdonalds and KFC.
