It was the shock of this years series but now it seems Aston Merrygold and Janette Manrara thinks that they should still be in the competition.
Both Ashton and Janette appeared on This Morning to talk about what they are calling it the ‘biggest shock’ in Strictly history.
Janette has said that she doesn’t agree with Craig Revel-Horwood’s score of four as she labeled it ‘really harsh’.
When Phillip asked what happened as Ashton said:
‘I feel gutted. That’s the perfect word for it. I couldn’t put my stamp on the dance’.
Janette then said:
‘I’m less diplomatic about it. I wish we had the chance to see more of Aston.’
‘There’s no right or wrong, everything comes down to an opinion…
‘But it was really harsh, it didn’t deserve a four. I do respect his opinion, he is a judge – I just really disagree with it.’
We have to say it was a massive shock that as every one thought Ashton was the winner.
