Olly Murs has confessed that he hasn’t spoken to his boss Simon Cowell since he joined The Voice and became a coach on the BBC show.
Olly was on Good Morning Britain when he confessed that there is no bad blood between the music mogul and Olly.
Susanna Reid asked the hit maker about the reports what said Simon was really announced with Olly for not asking his permission to join the rival show on the rival channel.
“That’s all paper talk. I mean, I haven’t heard from Simon, I haven’t spoken to him but I’m sure we’re great.
“What people misinterpret – when I came off X Factor I wasn’t still part of X Factor, I’ve gone on and had my music career and Simon wasn’t involved in that, really,”
“He was in it at the start of it, but listen: X Factor has been a massive part of my life, I love it. I won’t stop watching it. But The Voice pays my wages now.”
At the end of the day you would have thought that Simon would have been pleased for Olly landing such a fantastic role like he has done.
