Lee Rylan has decided to end his time on Eastenders to focus on his Hollywood career.
Lee who played Woody Woodward in the popular BBC soap has handed his notice in after he landed a starring role in World War Two movie.
A source has told The Sun:
‘EastEnders has really revived Lee’s acting career, it has put him in the position to secure movie roles, which has always been a big aim of his.
‘He’s enjoyed his time on The Square but he now feels ready to have a crack at Hollywood.
‘The decision has only been made very recently and he’ll be leaving on good terms.’
Lee first started on Eastenders last April and has popped up on the soap every now and then since then.
