With the awful news over the weekend that Mike Thalassitis‘ body had been found celebrities have been sharing their tributes to him and one person who has is Love Island host Caroline Flack.
Caroline took to her Instagram account to share some lovely photos of herself and Mike together.
Along with the photos above Caroline shared:
‘Mike… you were a total gentleman… I won’t forget that … it’s so sad …you will be missed. RIP. ❤️.’
On Sunday night Celebs Go Dating paid tribute to Mike Thalassitis who was found dead over the weekend.
Mike who appeared on the dating show in 2018 was remember at the end of the show by showing a picture of him along with the words of ‘In memory of Mike Thalassitis 1993-2019.’
Really is so sad.
Sam Thompson has taken to his social networking accounts to share a lovely tribute to his Celebs Go Dating co-star Mike Thalassitis who was found dead over the weekend.
The pair who meet while filming Celebs Go Dating in 2018 struck up a lovely friendship and where inseparable on screen and in their personal life’s.
‘A person just died. A friend just died. Someone that i know in my heart of hearts i could have done more for.
‘I met Mike on celebs go dating. I was told he was joining the show with me and my heart sank. I had heard all of the things said about this so called lothario. This cock sure arrogant guy, who was fresh out of love island and ready to steam roll this dating show that i was so terrified to join.
He then continued to say:
‘He came over to me, handed me a drink, apologised for not saying hello earlier, told me he was terrified and said he couldn’t wait to hang out more’ Sam recalled.
‘I stood there rather ashamed at how badly i had just judged a book by its cover. Over the next few months, the shame only grew. This guy was one of the most polite gentlemen i had ever met. [sic]’
They really did have a great friendship it just so heartbreaking.
Today Montana Brown has appeared on This Morning to remember her friend Mike Thalassitis who took his own life over the weekend.
Montana was very upset during her appearance on ITV monday morning as she spoke to Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
Montana confirmed that Mike went through a ‘dark place’ in November and December of last year as he was suffering with debts, the loss of his best friend who passed away on December 25th last year and the recent passing of his nan just last week.
Montana started off the interview saying that people have not been happy with the media usage of his nickname ‘Muggy Mike’ what he was named while on Love Island but she said that he actually liked that name and found it funny.
Brown confirmed that Mike use to confide in her and it was just a few days before his death when he texted her but she never replied as she said:
“I’m really kicking myself but he texted me and I didn’t reply,”
