Lady Gaga Admits Her New Song Rain On Me Is A Metaphor For When She Use To Use Alcohol To ‘Numb’ Herself

It’s a massive time for Lady Gaga at the moment.

With her new album Chromatica about to be released she has been speaking about one of her new songs called Rain On Me and has admitted that it’s a metaphor for when the sue to use alcohol to ‘numb’ herself.

During a conversation with Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 radio show Gaga said that new album Chromatica is about ‘radical acceptation’.

Gaga said:

 ‘[Rain ON Me] is also a metaphor for tears and for the amount of alcohol I was taking to numb myself. I’d rather be dry but at least I’m alive, rain on me.’

Gaga who was born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta has said that working with Ariana was a ‘very healing process,’ going on to say how refreshing it was for her to collaborate with a female artist who didn’t  ‘mentor’ during her early days.

We have to say we cant wait for this new album it’s going to be great and it’s so lovely that Gaga has been opening up about her life.
