Yes would love to have it back.
Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph are apparently in talks to bring back Birds Of A Feather for a lockdown special.
The sitcom originally aired on BBC1 from 1989 to 1998 and was then revived on ITV from 2014 to 2017 with an announcement in February 2019 that there was no plans for new episodes.
For the last couple of weeks ITV have been airing old episodes of the most recent series and it seems to have gone down well with the viewers.
Speaking on the Distinct Nostalgia podcast, Linda revealed that there has been talks about bringing the show back for a one off lockdown special what will show how the girls coped with being told to stay at home.
‘There was talk of one of me and Lesley on lockdown. The series is being repeated on ITV Friday nights at 8pm and at 8.30pm.
‘So it’s really nice for people who have not seen it before or people that are used to it can have another look and it will cheer them all up a bit.’
Lesley then added:
‘It could happen so let’s see. We’d like to do that one.’
It would be amazing to have it back and it’s what we need at the moment to have a good laugh and this show certainly brings that.
