Piers Morgan Admits He’s ‘Put On Some Weight’ While In Lockdown After Eating Takeaways

He’s continued to host Good Morning Britain thought the coronavirus pandemic.

But now Piers Morgan has admitted that the time he spent at home during the lockdown he has been having lots of takeaways leading to him ‘putting weight on’ and drinking wine with his wife Celia Walden.

Piers confessed that his other half is a bad influence on him for encouraging him to have treats in the evenings.

Piers said to his co-presenter Susanna Reid on Tuesday’s GMB:

‘I have put on a bit of weight in lockdown.’

Susanna the replied and said:

‘They call it the Covid 10’.

Piers then continued to say that he has really been struggling to contain himself in the evenings and has been eating naughty things.

He continued to say:

 ‘I wait all afternoon, and I get to about 6 o’clock, and my wife goes “shall we have a Chinese, or get the wine out?”‘

Susanna then said that wife Celia has not put weight on during the lockdown as she said:

‘Celia has this special ability not to pile on the pounds.’

Since the lockdown started Piers has shared a number of photo’s to his social media accounts of himself eating takeaways as you can see one of them below.
