Holly Willoughby has admitted that she was left ‘riddled with guilt’ as she missed her children’s first day of school due to working.
It was during a new interview when Holly admitted that it’s challenging juggling her busy TV career with being a mother to three children.
Speaking to Red magazine, the star opened up on motherhood, adding she felt worried that she’d get it ‘wrong’.
Holly said:
‘Becoming a mum was the only thing I knew I definitely wanted when I was growing up, but the image I had never involved me being a working mum. That’s the biggest challenge.‘I’ve been riddled with guilt about getting that part wrong. You love them so much and you don’t want to mess them up.’
Willoughby who’s married to Dan Baldwin also revealed how she missed Harry and Belle’s first days of school, due to filming commitments on This Morning, admitting she ‘hated’ not being there.
Holly then continued to say:
‘I didn’t do the drop-off because I was working. I hate that I wasn’t there because those memories you can’t get back.
So sad.
