Ruth Langsford Breaks Down In Tears On Loose Women After Talking About Her £33,000 Win For Charity On A Game Show

Today Ruth Langsford broke down in tears while hosting Loose Women.

The television presenter was talking about her £33,000 win what viewers watched Alan Carr’s Epic Gameshow

last Saturday with the money going to the Alzheimer’s Society what her father Dennis suffered with for 17 years before his passing in 2012.

On the ITV show today they showed the clip of her winning all the money and Ruth admitted that it had ‘set me off again.’.

Ruth then explained:

‘I just thought of my dad you know.

I was very proud on Saturday to play for the Alzheimer’s Society and I made myself cry

‘Coleen texted me saying she was sat there crying too. When you’re representing a charity that is close to your heart and that card had been the wrong turn we would have lost that money.

Ruth then continued:

‘You have to gamble because £30,000 can help so many people. Even though I knew I’d won I wept like a baby.’

Ruth then whipped her eyes with a tissue.

She really did so well to win all that money for such a fantastic charity.
