Super exciting news.
Joe Dommett has confirmed that series 2 of The Masked Singer UK will start filming this September!
There have been doubts over another series this year due to the coronavirus restrictions but it seems the virus is not going ot stop the show.
It was in January when the last series aired for the first time in the UK after it being hugely popular in other parts of the world.
Now the host has confirmed the news on Martin and Roman’s Sunday Best as he said:
‘There is going to be another series, I’m so excited that I’m now allowed to tell people,’
‘They’re all planning it, they don’t know the rules for when it happens fully in September, but I’m so excited to be a part of the show I absolutely love.’
The funny man then continued to say:
‘I love the format, it’s so inclusive, everyone loves it from two-year-olds up to 100-year-olds, I just love it and they’re playing the American version on Saturday night. ‘I think it’s nice to see the format but a slightly different version of it.’
The judges on the last series where Davina McCall, Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross and Ken Jeong but it’s not been said if these will be the next series judges but to be honest we really hope they are.
There has been talk before that the show will be filmed without a studio audience and at the moment this is looking highly likely but who know’s what the rules will be like in September.
