Tiger King Joe Exotic Gets Released From Solitary Confinement And Now Moved Into A Medical Facility In The Prison Due To ‘Coronavirus Fears’

Tiger King star Joe Exotic has been released from solitary confinement and moved into a medical facility in the prison.

Joe has been in confinement ‘for the last four months due to coronavirus fears’.

The Netflix star’s reps announced the news on Instagram on Tuesday saying he is now in a room ‘with a hospital bed and a window’ following a months-long campaign to have him removed.

In a statement to his loyal fans, the rep shared to his Instagram account:

‘Two thousand of you were kind enough to take time out of your busy lives, in spite of all that is going on in the world around us today, to write and ask that he be released,’

‘For the first time in two years he is able to simply look out of a window into the world beyond while being lifted out of hopelessness and desperation by the kindness shown from all of you.’

Joe is currently serving a 22-year sentence, was being held in isolation at Grady County Jail in Chickasha, Oklahoma after a COVID-19 outbreak at the prison, before being moved to Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas in April.
