She’s been on Loose Women since day dot of the show but today Coleen Nolan has decided to quit the show for the time being after she was branded a ‘bully’ by the viewers over the interview with Kim Woodburn last week.
Coleen’s management announced today that she has decided to pull out of all of her TV work and her upcoming tour what was set to start in January 2019.
It was only on Monday that Coleen announced that she is going to go on tour solo for the first time but it seems all the drama over the last week has caused her to her to want some time off.
In a statement released by Coleen she said:
“Following the constant online bullying, trolling and misrepresentation of her words and reactions, it is with sad regret that Coleen is taking an immediate hiatus from all her current commitments including Loose Women and postponing her Never Too late solo concert tour.
“Coleen is devastated to let her supporters and fans down, but is currently not strong enough to withstand this constant unfounded online abuse, so she will be taking time out and spending it with her children and family where she feels loved and respected.”
It all got emotional on This Morning on Tuesday after Coleen Nolan appeared on the show to talk about her new tour but it wasn’t the tour what got her upset!
Presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby asked Coleen about that interview last week when Kim Woodburn was on Loose Women and it leaded to a petition being created asking for Coleen to be sacked.
More news to come….
She’s already been banned from Good Morning Britain after Piers Morgan said that he no longer wanted her appearing on the morning breakfast show he hosts.
Now Lily has been banned from appearing on Loose Women after her appearance on the show last week didn’t go down well.
Apparently Lily’s behavior was so ‘rude and erratic’ the producers don’t want her on Loose Women anymore.
She was a regular on the panel daily but then Denise Welch decided to leave Loose Women but it seems she might be back.
On Thursday show Denise is going to make her return to the lunchtime show.
During the cross over link from This Morning to Loose Women Denise said that she has so much to tell the other girls.
We will just have to see what she has to say later on.
Stacey Solomon has openly spoken about being diagnosed with HPV and confessed how she tried to keep it from her family as she was worried that they would feel that she is ‘dirty’ and ‘sleeps around’.
Stacey bravely opened up while her and the other Loose Women talked about if the HPV vaccine what is offered to school girls should also be offered to boys too.
‘I spoke about this on the show before, that I contracted HPV. The person who gave it to me decided to tell me after we’d had a relationship together.
‘A lot of people he’d had relationships with had gone back to him saying, ”I’ve got this virus and I believe I’ve contracted it from you, as I didn’t have it before”.’
She tne continued to say:
‘I did get nervous talking about it in the beginning. I almost felt a bit dirty,’ she said.
‘I thought, if I was to talk about something I contracted sexually, it makes me [look like] someone who sleeps around, or is irresponsible. But I was taking all the precautions.
‘You can even get this virus when using protection, it’s skin-on-skin, so you really have to be very careful.’
It was back in October of 2016 when Stacey first spoke about having the virus on Loose Women and has never been shy about answering questions on the show ever since.
Katie Kane has been left scarred on the face after having skin cancer twice but Wednesday on Loose Women the Real Housewives of Cheshire star showed off the scars as she sat alongside her sister Rachel Lugo.
Talking on Loose Women she said:
‘Children are very cruel, people will say things to you and it does stay with you,’
‘I wouldn’t say it’s me comparing myself, people have done it throughout our lives. People compare, they say, “That’s the pretty one”.’
Katie then continued to say that she thought the mark on her faces was eczema but it turned out to actually be skin cancer.
‘I had a previous treatment in the hope I’d never have to have surgery. Twice the cancer has come back in this particular place.
‘I had it 11 years ago on my chest. It came on my face, this has been the worst one. This is basal cell carcinoma which is the most prominent one.
‘My business partner had skin cancer, she said I think you should get checked out because at the time I thought it was just eczema.’
It’s just so awful.
She is so brave.
