MTV bosses have confirmed that Mike Thalassitis was filmed for the new series of Ex On The Beach before his passing last weekend.
Mike was going to be a contestant on the reality show as it was filmed last September but now with his death it’s been announced that this years series is going to be canceled, out of respect for Mike’s family and friends.
In a statement shared to the Mail Online MTV said:
‘We were very sad to hear the tragic news about Mike Thalassitis and our thoughts are with his family and friends.
‘Last year, Mike took part in filming for the next series of Ex on the Beach, which was due to air on MTV later in the year.
‘In light of the news of Mike’s death, we have decided not to broadcast the planned tenth season of the show.’
Today Montana Brown has appeared on This Morning to remember her friend Mike Thalassitis who took his own life over the weekend.
Montana was very upset during her appearance on ITV monday morning as she spoke to Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
Montana confirmed that Mike went through a ‘dark place’ in November and December of last year as he was suffering with debts, the loss of his best friend who passed away on December 25th last year and the recent passing of his nan just last week.
Montana started off the interview saying that people have not been happy with the media usage of his nickname ‘Muggy Mike’ what he was named while on Love Island but she said that he actually liked that name and found it funny.
Brown confirmed that Mike use to confide in her and it was just a few days before his death when he texted her but she never replied as she said:
“I’m really kicking myself but he texted me and I didn’t reply,”
Last night must have been a hard night for Vicky Pattison as her reality show titled The Breakup was airing on TLC.
The Show was meant to be about Vicky and the lead up to her wedding to John Noble but after photos and rumors of alleged infidelity appeared the wedding was called off and the show was about the breakup.
The reality star shared a photo to her Instagram account on Wednesday night of herself sitting on her sofa with five McDonald’s burgers around her in nervous anticipation before the show started.
Along with the photo above Vicky shared:
‘I think I’m ready… Gin, Big Macs with bacon, comfies and some of the best people I have ever met in my life… if this isn’t the best way to watch tv I don’t know what is?!!’
We have to say the show was just so sad we really felt for Vicky but we hope that the food helped her though watching it!
