The Voice To Replace Saturday Night Takeaway On Saturday Night!

With the news breaking earlier that Saturday Night Takeaway has been taken off the air this Saturday due to host Ant McPartlin being involved in a car crash and testing positive at the roadside for dirking.

Now it’s been said that The Voice will be shown instead of the popular Saturday night show.

The news has been confirmed by ITV who tweeted on their The Voice Press Twitter Page:

Scheduling update for this Saturday (March 24): will now air at 7pm on ITV instead of the usual time of 8.30pm


After The Voice airs  repeat of Keith Lemon’s Through the Keyhole will also be shown.

Olly Murs Hasn’t Spoken To Simon Cowell Since He Joined The Voice

Olly Murs has confessed that he hasn’t spoken to his boss Simon Cowell since he joined The Voice and became a coach on the BBC show.

Olly was on Good Morning Britain when he confessed that there is no bad blood between the music mogul and Olly.

Susanna Reid asked the hit maker about the reports what said Simon was really announced with Olly for not asking his permission to join the rival show on the rival channel.

Olly said:

“That’s all paper talk. I mean, I haven’t heard from Simon, I haven’t spoken to him but I’m sure we’re great.

“What people misinterpret – when I came off X Factor I wasn’t still part of X Factor, I’ve gone on and had my music career and Simon wasn’t involved in that, really,”

She continued:

“He was in it at the start of it, but listen: X Factor has been a massive part of my life, I love it. I won’t stop watching it. But The Voice pays my wages now.”

At the end of the day you would have thought that Simon would have been pleased for Olly landing such a fantastic role like he has done.

Olly Murs has confirmed that Simon Cowell hasnt spoken to him since he landed the job of The Voice coach.

The Voice what is the rival to Simon’s show X Factor seems to have put his nose out of joint featuring Olly who is signed to Simon’s record label.

It was on Thursday’s Good Morning Britain when Olly spoke about how Simon has gone silent on him as he said:

“I haven’t heard from Simon.

“I don’t believe in rivalries.”

He continued:

“X Factor was an incredible part of my life, now I am taking the next chapter and becoming a coach on The Voice.

“I’m loving it – there’s no hard feelings from me anyway.

“If he wants to call me, call me.

“Let’s have a chat, Simon.”

Maybe Simon wanted Olly as a judge on the X Factor?

Ricky Wilson Rules Out Return To The Voice

He was the tough talking judge on The Voice but now Ricky Wilson has admitted that he is not going to be returning to the talent show.

Chatting to Lorraine Kelly Ricky said that he dont think he could return to the show.

He said:

“I don’t think I can do it again, you already said I won it twice, so if I did it again people would think I was doing it for the money.”I’d done it for three years, I did enjoy it a lot. I left because there was a move and it was changing and I thought I might change.

“I’m looking forward to it, but I know I’ll watch the first one and then I’d be angry.”

Sir Tom Jones Admits Music And The Voice Saved His Life After The Death Of Wife Linda


His world was rocked after Sir Tom Jones’ wife Linda lost her battle with cancer in April of this year.

Now Tom has spoken and said that music and being a judge on The Voice has saved his life and helped him cope with his wife’s death.

Talking to the sun the music legend said:

“I didn’t know whether I’d be able to sing again or not. It was devastating,”

“I’ve got back on the stage. That first step was a big one. Now I realise music is saving my life.”

He then continued to say:

“The busier I am, the better I feel. The Voice is definitely part of that.”

As we have told you before Tom was one of the first judges on the show but then was sacked in 2015 but was asked to return in 2016.


Jennifer Hudson Speaks About Becoming A Judge On The Voice


She a Oscar award winning singer and now Jennifer Hudson is going to be using her musical knowledge to be a judge on The Voice.

It was annouced on Thursday that Jennifer alongside Tom Jones, Will.I.Am and Gavin Rossdale will all judge the ITV show when it begins next year!

Jennifer has admitted that she  ‘can’t wait’ to get started on the programme and to start judging the talent.

She said:

‘I couldn’t be more excited to join the amazing panel of coaches on The Voice UK!

‘The UK has always been so supportive of me since the beginning of my career so I’m really looking forward to sharing my point of view with the contestants and especially Team JHUD. 

She then continued:

‘Discovering new artists has always been important to me and the UK has no shortage of talent, so I can only imagine what this experience will be like for everyone involved.

‘I can’t wait to get going and start developing each individual’s own sound!’

We are super excited for Jennifer to join The Voice!

She knows exactly what she’s talking about so will be fantastic.
