It was only last night when we said a very emotional bye to Big Brother but it’s looking like it might not be over after all.
Reports are saying that Endemol are having meetings with Netflix as early as ‘next week’ are going to meet up and talk about them taking over the show,
A source has said to The Sun:
‘Executives at Endemol are meeting with Netflix early next week.’
It’s also been said that Endemol who won the show will sit down to discuss a deal with the company imminently so there is going to be no messing around.
A insider has said:
“Netflix could be the saviours of Big Brother — the news fans have wanted to hear since Channel 5 made the announcement.
“Executives at Endemol are meeting with Netflix early next week. Of course it’s still early days.
“Streaming sites have a lot of money so it’s an option they’re looking at.”
We so hope that it’s not the end of Big Brother are you with us?
Last night was a sad night for Emma Willis and Big Brother fans as it was the last ever final of the show.
Emma cried and weep throughout the show and her voice kept on breaking while she spoke before breaking down alongside Big Brother Bit On The Side presenter Rylan Clark-Neal.
Emma was snapped drying her eyes during the add break as she just couldn’t believe that her beloved Big Brother was over.
Cameron Cole was voted the series winner and at the end of the show Emma said:
‘Thank you to the 300 plus production team that work tirelessly behind the scenes to bring you our very special show.
‘To Davina [McCall], Marcus, and Brian, who have paved the way as hosts. To all of the ‘Big Brother’ housemates that have taken part over the last 18 years, and to all of you at home.
‘Whether you’ve been here for the long haul, or you’ve recently climbed on board, with you, we would never have lasted 18 years.
‘But most of all, thank you to Big Brother for being the best big brother to me. Like any sibling he has made me laugh uncontrollably, scream in frustration, and weep with sadness and joy.
‘I will love you always, but it’s time now for this house to hopefully find a new home. Thank you so much for watching.’
We have to say it was such an emotinal show and we so hope that another channel takes it over.
He’s been the talk of the series but now Lewis Flanagan has been Removed From Big Brother.
It’s been said that Lewis was removed due to “unexceptionable language”.
Reports have been saying that Lewis was speaking to Cameron when he spoke about Auschwitz’.
A report has said:
“Lewis was talking to Cameron and told him: ‘When we get out of here, we’ll sort you out with some Auschwitz’.
“He said he was supposed to say ‘outfits’. He’s told people it was a slip of the tongue and he didn’t know why he said it.”
Taking to his Twitter account Lewis’ team shared:
Thank you to the big brother production team for trying hard to keep Lewis in the house, but due to the nature of the conversation with Brooke and Cameron today. It was nothing to do with racism before you all start. Lol The owners of the station could not let him continue. Xx
Viewers where completely shocked to hear that Rodrigo Alves had been removed from Celebrity Big Brother after just being in the house a week.
Viewers where not told why the production company decided to remove him from the house until now as he was involved in a incident with Dan Osborne.
Presenter Gary Siergiopoulose was at the studio where the show is filmed and heard a rumor that Rodrigo was removed after he grabbed Dan’s penis while he was sleeping.
Taking to Twitter Gary shared:
‘Since there is no #bbuk tonight I can share the gossip I heated at the studio last night. The rumor is Rodrigo was removed from #cbb because he got caught fondling Dan Osborns penis while he was sleeping! Omg imagine waking up to find this HORROR touching you’re privates’
No news about this situation has been confirmed by channel 5 or the production team.
It’s been an awful day for Big Brother fans after it was announced that the show and it’s Celebrity version have been axed by Channel 5!
But it’s not all doom and gloom as it’s been announced in the press that other channels are looking to purchase the show from Channel 5.
The Sun have reported that thanks to th3e shows money-making format other channels are keen to get their hands on it.
An insider has said to the news publication:
“Celebrity Big Brother is a hugely popular format and a massive brand that attracts millions of absolutely dedicated and importantly, young fans.
“That makes it extremely valuable when it comes to advertising.
“And there is no way another channel won’t snap it up and bring it back, probably as early as next year.
“Channel Five getting rid of it is a massive gamble. It’s still their most popular show, so it may be a decision they live to regret.”
We so so so so hope they do it would be a massive shame if it’s gone for good.
Plus there was so good news at the start of this week when it was announced that the council who own the land of the house have said that it can stay for another three years.
Keeping fingers crossed.
It’s the end of an era!
Channel 5 have announced on Friday that they will no longer be airing Celebrity Big Brother and Big Brother.
Tonight is the launch of the last series of the civilians show as it has been decided that it’s time to end the production of the hugely popular show.
Big Brother has been on our screens for nearly 20 years now as it started on Channel 4 and then Channel 5 brought as they signed a £200 million pound deal with creators Endemol UK.
Over the years the ratings have seriously slumped sadly.
It is going to be so missed but we just hope that they find a channel to purchase the show.
