Husband and wife duo Marvin and Rochelle Humes have apparently landed a role as hosts of a brand new BBC One music quiz show.
The pair who started off their careers as singers in JLS and The Saturdays have turned into TV presenters as Marin on Capital FM and Rochelle on This Morning as she stands in for Holly Willoughby while she is in australia presenting I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here.
The new show is called Playlisters and they both have now released statements accounting the news.
They both have said:
‘It’s our first stand-alone show together and the fact it’s a format based on our love of music makes it all the more rewarding.
‘We frequently put each other’s knowledge to the test at home, so we cannot wait to see how the contestants get on.’
We have to say we are looking forward to watching their new show when it starts.
Wow this really must have touched a nerve.
With Little Mix’s new single Shout Out To My Ex, being released the single is all about ex’s and people have said that it is about Perrie Edwards’ ex Zayn Malik but clearly it’s about all their ex’s.
During an interview on Capital FM host Roman Kemp asked Leigh-Anne Pinnock about her ex and it seemed a little too much as she stormed out of the room.
Roman asked the girl group:
‘If you write a song like this do you have to speak to all exes? Clear that song with them?’
‘I know the song is called that, but talk about how it’s a positive thing. Do you know what I mean? It’s just annoying though isn’t it?’
Leigh then told her fellow band members to carry on with the interview while she walked out.
Perrie Edwards then said:
‘I think she’s having a bad day,’
At the end of the day if you are going to write a song about your ex’s or something what is hard for you to talk about it’s not the best of things.
