It was on Thursday afternoon when he decided to break the news that he no longer wanted to be apart of the show.
In a statement Louis said:
‘I’ve had a fantastic 13 years on The X Factor but the show needs a change and I’m ready to leave.’
He cotniuned to say:

Cheryl Tweedy has said that she will not be returning to the X Factor if Louis Walsh is still on the judging panel.
Cheryl who has had her ups and downs with the music mogul seems like she just can’t forgive her falling outs with Louis and will not be on the show if he is.

On Saturday night the producers decided to just have three judges Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh but they decided for Sunday’s show they needed another judge so to replace Simon then had Alesha Dixon.

On Sunday night it was the X Factor final and judge Nicole Scherzinger has been accused of being drunk during the live show held at Wembley arena.

Liam Payne has taken to his Twitter account to hit out at X Factor judge Louis Walsh as he swore at a reporter who asked him about Cheryl’s pregnancy.
Louis was on the phone to a reporter when he told them to ‘f**k off’ at a photocall ahead of this weekend’s final.
Liam took to his Twitter account on Friday to air his viewers on Louis and he tweeted:

They use to work really closely together on the X Factor but now Louis Walsh and Dermot O’Leary have admitted that they haven’t congratulated Cheryl on her pregnancy.
Louis said that he is not excited about her baby because over the years they have not been the best of friends and Dermot said that he will when Cheryl announces that she is expecting.
