MTV bosses have confirmed that Mike Thalassitis was filmed for the new series of Ex On The Beach before his passing last weekend.
Mike was going to be a contestant on the reality show as it was filmed last September but now with his death it’s been announced that this years series is going to be canceled, out of respect for Mike’s family and friends.
In a statement shared to the Mail Online MTV said:
‘We were very sad to hear the tragic news about Mike Thalassitis and our thoughts are with his family and friends.
‘Last year, Mike took part in filming for the next series of Ex on the Beach, which was due to air on MTV later in the year.
MTV have decided to suspend airing of Catfish after host of the show Nev Schulman has been accused of sexual misconduct.
Reports have said that MTV have temporarily suspended production of the show due to the sexual misconduct claims made against the show’s host.
The channel are investigating the claims according to The Daily Beast, and this is a real hard one of them as Nev is one of the TV program executive producers.
A spokesperson has said:
“We take these allegations very seriously. We’re working with Critical Content, our third party production company, to conduct a thorough investigation.”
It’s not clear what MTV are investigating at this moment in time but former Catfish participant Ayissha Morgan has said that incident she had with a previous show she was involved in.
Kurtis Hartman who’s currently on the new series of Ex On The Beach has filmed himself in a homophobic rant.
The rant came after he got into an altercation and apparently had his nose broken earlier in the evening while on a night out.
The video starts by Kurtis describing himself as a ‘salty motherf***er’ but then started talking about the person who allegedly assaulted him.
‘He’s a little f****t.
‘He’s chatting s**t, he’s a little f***ing liar. Kurtis Hartman, don’t f***ing test me. Right, you little f****t, I’ll bite a hole in your face you little c***’.
A rep for Kurtis has said to the MailOnline:
‘Kurtis is not homophobic whatsoever and is a huge supporter of the LGBT community and is apologetic if his choice of word is offensive.
‘He had consumed a lot of alcohol that night which does not condone the use of his language. As you can understand Kurtis was very angry at being attacked.’

The Geordie Shore star meet a hunkie blonde man when she decided to jump into his arms and dry hump him causing confusion to the viewers as they thought she was in a relationship with Casey Johnson.
Well she is.
The series was filmed before she got with Casey so she was single at the time of filming.
In the clip from tonight’s upcoming episode (the first in the new series) it showed Marnie all over the blonde man in question as they took part in a sex therapy session.
Marnie tried out different sex positions as they laid all over the hunk.
It’s looking like there are going to be a few new faces on Geordie Shore as a leaked photo has showed new male cast members sitting around the table filming along with show regulars Nathan Henry and Sam Growland.
A photo has appeared n Instagram and Twitter of the boys sitting at a table while being filmed by a film crew while filming in Australia.
Waxy’s Irish Pub in Queensland tweeted:

We will have to wait and see what the new boys are like.
Marnie Simpson has announced on Thursday evening that she is leaving Geordie Shore after five years.
Marnie who ha shared lots of her life on the reality show announced she is leaving just one day after she tweeted saying that the show was ‘scripted and fake’ after she was asked by a fan.
The Sun has reported that Marnie wants to move on from the MTV show as the source has said:
‘Marnie has loved her time on Geordie Shore but it’s time for her to move on.
‘She will still be around for this series but that’s it – she won’t return for the next,’
