‘Davina needs to chill out, i liked her as a presenter until today!! Too loud!!’

Alison Hammond Forced To Step In For Poorly Eamonn Holmes On This Morning

Friday means one thing Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford presenting This Morning but on Friday’s edition of the show Eamonn was forced to stay at home after he has been struck down with a sore throat and can’t say a word.

That mean Ruth couldn’t be presenting the show by herself so Alison Hammond stood in and covered for Eamonn.

Alison admitted that she was about to take her son to school when she got a text from her manager at ITV asking for her to host the show.

Ruth opened the show by herself as she told he viewers:

“They’re dropping like flies in my house.

“Jack was off all week with the lergy, and this morning Eamonn woke up with no voice. He was literally having to write notes.”

Then Alison walked out onto the set and sat down next to Ruth and said on Friday’s show:

“I woke up, was getting my son ready for school, was going to go to the gym as you do and then I get a message from boss saying: ‘Al, can you do the show?’

“And I thought about ignoring it and then I thought about Ruth on her own and I couldn’t.”

Holly Willoughby Might Be Replacing Ant McPartlin On I’m A Celebrity This Year!

Holly Willoughby Might Be Replacing Ant McPartlin On I'm A Celebrity This Year!

With Ant McPartlin currently in rehab it’s not looking like he will be hosting I’m A Celebrity…. Get Me Out Of Here what set to air in November of this year.

With this news rumors are flying around asking who will replace him and stand alongside Dec to present the show and now it’s looking like it could be Holly Willoughby.

A source close to Ant has said:

‘I’m a Celeb is ITV’s biggest show of the year so they’re keen to get a plan in place should Ant want to continue his down time.

‘Holly is the number one choice, she’s the nation’s favourite and already a huge fan of the show – the perfect Jane of the jungle to Dec’s Tarzan!

‘She’s wholesome, fun and has the experience needed to pull off the comedy links expected of the presenters.’

Since these rumors started Holly has said herself that it’s all  ‘total nonsense’ but she’s hardly going to say that she is going to take over the hosting job if the producers want to keep it all hush hush.
