They only aired one series of The Nightly Show, Fearless and Bigheads but now ITV have decided to get rid of all three of them shows.
The show that aired last year on the channel have been scrapped as an ITV spokesperson has said:
“Some of our schedule did not perform as well as we had hoped, for example The Nightly Show, Fearless and Bigheads, so will not return in 2018.”
The Nightly Show was meant to be a copy of the hugely popular American Late Late Show but sadly failed to bring in the ratings.
It aired every night for two months in 2017 and had a who series of hosts including David Walliams, Davina McCall and Bradley Walsh but not even these big named could get the viewers to watch.
Davina McCall is no stranger to acting crazy on live TV but on Wednesday night on The Nightly Show the presneter pretended to fake an orgasum live.
Davina was talking about the news that some people have been hacking vibrators and controlling the speed of womens sex toys causing McCall to act out the sex act.
McCall sat the the desk and pretended to jump up and down on her seat pretending that she was having an orgasum.
My word not what we expected to see.
Tonight was the start of the ITV night show The Nightly Show and was presented by David Walliam but sadly the viewers have not taken a shining to the show.
Viewers have taken to Twitter to air their views about the show and they are clearly not impressed.
One thing what the viewers where annoyed about was that the 10PM news has now been put back to 10:30PM and another thing is they just don’t like the show as people have said that ITV have tried their hardest to copy Americas The Late Late Show with James Corden.
One person tweeted:
Recording this was a waste of 2% on the Virgin Media box!
While other said:
It seem’s David Walliams is going to be on our TV screens nightly from now on.
The author is getting his own late night show what will air daily to channel James Corden’s Late Late show what aires in the US.
The show will be called The Nightly Show and will air on ITV.
It was on Thursday when ITV confirmed the show and said that it will start to air in 2017 and will air week nightly for half hour each night for a eight week run.
The show will not only be hosted by David as after a while other big name hosts will take over the show.
David is going to be the host for the launch week and other names to host will be relieved in the coming weeks.
“I am thrilled to be the first host for this brand new show for ITV.”
Peter Davey, ITV’s Head Of Comedy Entertainment said:
“We’re really excited about launching this bold new show, and delighted that David will kick off what will be an eight week entertainment treat for viewers.”
This will be good to watch David will do such a good job.
