Katie Price Blames Hospital For Her Son Harvey Having Brain Damage And Admits She Decided Not To Sue

Katie Price has admitted that it was the hospitals fault and they are to blame for her son Harvey having brain damage.

Talking on Loose Women on Wednesday the former glamour model admitted that when Harvey was born the nurses noticed that he wouldn’t respond to lights shining in his eyes causing him to get diagnosed and told that he is blind.

She said:

“He’s blind. My mum and I were so shocked. We left the room and I wondered if someone was going to advise us but we left in the dark.

Katie then said that when Harvey was at the hospital another time the staff there admitted that it was their fault why he has brain damage as they never gave him the medication what he needed but Katie said that she was not going to sue the hospital.

She said on Wednesday:

‘You can’t sue the hospital because you need them, the NHS, for the rest of his life, so we just deal with it as it is.’

Katie then admitted that it wasnt the hospital who helped her it was other mums as she said:

‘But what’s important wasn’t the doctors, it was the mums, we found these places with kids that are similar and Harvey used to drink lots of water and one of the mums said, “I bet he’s got what my son has got, diabetes insipidus, don’t worry about your local doctor because they’re not specialised, get referred to Great Ormond Street and see this specific doctor”.

She really did open up on the show today.
