Zayn Malik has unfollowed his girlfriend Gigi Hadid within minutes of the news breaking that that they had split he had gone onto her Instagram account and hit the unfollow button so he no longer has her photos appearing on his instagram app.
Not only has Zayn unfollowed Gigi he has also unfollowed her mother Yolanda Hadid too.
So sad.
Earlier we told you that Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid where over as a source claimed that due to their hectic work schedules the pair decided to break up.
Now both Zayn and Gigi have confirmed the news on their Twitter accounts.
Zayn was first to confirm the news by sharing on Twitter:

News has broken tonight that Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid have broken up.
The pair who have been together for more than two years have decided to go their separate ways after their work has got in the way of them being together.
On Monday night a source has said to The Sun:
“Sadly Zayn and Gigi have separated.
“They are no longer a couple but they do remain close and are supportive of each other.
“The reality is that they’ve grown apart, having been together for a long time.
“They have crazy work schedules that would put pressure on any relationship.”
It really is such a shame.
Last week Gigi Hadid shared a video online of her boyfriend Zayn Malik dancing for her birthday but it wasn’t the dance what people were watching it was his new tattoo.
Fans noticed that his new tattoo of an eye across his chest looks so much like Gigi’s eye.
Twitter and instagram then erupted with comments asking if the tattoo really is of Gigi’s eye as one person tweeted:

This is not the first time that Zayn has got a girlfriend tattooed on him as previously when he was dating Little Mix star Perrie Edwards he got a tattoo for her but since they split he got it removed.
It was in 2011 when Rebecca Ferguson and Zayn Malik dated but now she has been talking about their relationship and revealed something personal.
Rebecca was a Loose Woman for the day as she sat on the panel she admitted that she had never “broke wind” in front of the One Direction singer.
Rebecca who has started dating someone new said:
‘It’s early days with me and my boy at the minute, but I’m kind of … No, I don’t, ever.
‘But, what I do think is when you get to the stage where you’ve – we’ve all been there – the first couple of dates where your belly is absolutely killing you and you just want them to go, because you’re like … that’s when you need to go “Look love, I like you a lot but it’s time for things to get a little bit loose”.’

His world was rocked in December of the last year when Louis Tomlinson’s mother passed away but now the former One Direction singer has admitted that his mother Johannah Deakin’s dying wish was for him to make up with Zayn Malik.
Louis has confessed that him and Zayn are now talking about are friends again after they fell out after he left One Direction.
Louis has said that ‘life’s too short’ to row and is not on talking terms with the singer.
Talking to The Sun, Louis said:
‘My mum said: “You’ve got to get back in contact with Zayn. Life’s too f*****g short”. A mother’s intuition is just f*****g crazy. It always felt supernatural to me. My mum always knew what I was feeling and what I wanted.’
He then Continued to say to the publication:
‘I can’t stand to hold a grudge with anyone. It doesn’t sit with me right. If there is any animosity, just clear the air. I met up with him and it was nice.
‘I would always see the good in Zayn and also watch him shoot himself in the foot with some of his decisions, but he’s just a little misunderstood.’
